“It all started with a wild imagination and a passion for art. As a child I loved designing and creating, whether that meant using an old singer sewing machine to sew little pink dresses for my dog, Tiny, or sculpting bowls and faces from the clay in a creek behind my house. Once I got older I took fashion and sewing classes at the grammar school I attended in England and began making more complicated pieces. After college I worked in fashion sales and marketing but found I craved the ability to design my own pieces. This led me to realizing my dream of being a designer by creating my own company, Designs by Anja.”
